What You'll Do

A typical day at My Spot is dynamic and fulfilling, requiring empathy, analytical skills, and a commitment to improving children's lives. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Implementing evidence-based physical therapy interventions through fun and engaging activities to motivate children and promote progress.
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and parents to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes.
  • Providing guidance and education to families on therapeutic exercises and activities to support their child's progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and communication with other healthcare professionals.
What You'll Need
  • Active Occupational Therapist Assistant(COTA) license in state of Texas.
